Proven sustainability
through credible global
standards.

EPINITY® is certified by globally credible
sustainability standards.

RSPO

EPINITY® is certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) which means we can provide RSPO-certified product to customers who want the additional certification. RSPO promotes the growth and use of sustainable palm oil products through credible global standards and stakeholder engagement. As the glycerine we use for EPINITY® comes from palm oil, we ensure that this palm oil is certified by RSPO.

We are certified by the RSPO Supply Chain Certification standard (RSPO SCC) under the mass balance model, not only to support our customers and end-users (mainly in the personal care industry) who commit to purchasing sustainable palm derivatives but we also want to support smallholder palm farmers whose plantations are sustainably cultivated.

ISCC

EPINITY®'s production site at Map Ta Phut, Thailand has been certified under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification system as producing “Bio-Circular Epichlorohydrin” from “Bio-Circular glycerine” (classified as wastes/residues of biological origin following ISCC’s categories). This certified mass-balance approach ensures the sustainability and traceability of our bio-based Epichlorohydrin (ECH).

ISCC is a multi-stakeholder organisation established in 2010 to support the shift towards the circular economy and bioeconomy. ISCC’s key pillars are no deforestation, traceability throughout the supply chain, feedstock identity, well-defined and third-party verified claims, transparent rules for mass balancing and physical segregation, a multi-stakeholder approach with a continuous dialogue and protection of biodiversity and high carbon stock areas.

USDA BioPreferred

The BioPreferred Program is a labelling scheme managed by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). EPINITY® received the USDA Certified Biobased Product label for its 100% bio-based content.

The USDA Certified Biobased Product label displays a product’s biobased content, which is the portion of a product that comes from a renewable source, such as plant, animal, marine, or forestry feedstocks.
